'Faith For The Fugitive'
How can we develop our faith is a vital question that should concern every believer in Jesus
Christ.
All faith must originate at the Cross, so there is no faith-rest life until someone personally
believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Before anyone can apply the promises of the Bible to his life, he MUST start where God declares
that all faith begins which is at the Cross of Christ.
Where we spend eternity is determined by our attitude toward the Son of God and whether we
will ever have any peace or blessing in this life is also determined by our attitude toward Him.
All of the good works in the world cannot measure up to God’s standard of absolute
righteousness.
And if God can provide eternal security or eternal stability for us through the Cross of His Son,
He can also provide temporal stability or temporal security for us in time.
The people could not literally live in the Tabernacle but they could keep on thinking about the
Person and work of Jesus Christ, their promised Messiah, as He was revealed in the Tabernacle.
When we look into God’s Word and discover His grace; not only in our salvation and not only in
His keeping power but also in His recovery technique for restoration
of fellowship with Him, we have a perfect illustration of His amazing majesty.
As we begin to daily absorb God’s Word, our new-found faith which began at the Cross that was
as small as a grain of mustard seed, starts to grow more and more!
So, in times of trouble, where does God hide us? Where is the place of blessing in the shelter?
It’s in the promises of the Word of God.
If you’re NOT happy with what you have today, NOTHING you can accumulate tomorrow will
make you happy.
Confidence in the Lord cannot be shaken even by war!
More people have been hurt by the sharpness of the tongue than will ever be hurt by the
sharpness of the sword.
We build tremendous faith and stability when we take our sufferings, trials and problems and
apply biblical truth to every adverse situation we face.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith, it is impossible to please Him.
