'Fulfilling The New Commandment'
One of the most basic principles of prayer is the principle of humility; God is everything, we are
nothing and we address our prayers to Him because He is totally capable and we are inescapably
incapable.
The more biblical truth we take in, the greater becomes our capacity for life and the greater our
capacity for life, the more God is going to pour Himself into us and He is glorified in pouring out
His blessings to us.
All believers have the same opportunity and the same ability of comprehension in the field of
Bible doctrine and spiritual phenomena. Why? Because it doesn’t depend on our IQ, it depends
upon the grace perception system that God has provided.
God the Father is glorified at the moment that God the Holy Spirit places us in union with God
the Son which enters us into Their Royal Family and identifies us with our Lord’s strategic
victory in the angelic dispute also.
Church Age Royal ambassadors who represent the Lord Jesus Christ, treat people the way He
would treat them and the primary function of the Royal priesthood is going to Bible class
consistently and studying daily, if possible, to adopt the mind of Christ.
And as it is with everything of intrinsic value in life, it all begins with our Creator and His
gracious expression of His love toward us!
Love can never be directed toward people and be successful apart from the truth which is found
in God’s established laws for believers and unbelievers, the Gospel for unbelievers and Bible
doctrine for believers.
All our decisions regarding love either reflect our flaws and failures or our success and spiritual
greatness so, love becomes a visible manifestation of who and what we really are as believers
living in this world.
Personal love is the expression of man’s ego; impersonal love is the expression of man’s virtue.
In order to love God, we must to be able to concentrate on His thinking and when we do, then we
love Him more than life itself and His thinking is biblical truth.
Life can become the most fantastic experience because God has prepared things that are
exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think for us!
Since personal love emphasizes the object and since the object of that personal love is God and
since God is perfect virtue, this becomes the major problem-solver in life once we reach spiritual
adulthood.
Impersonal love is stable and consistent whether confronted with friendliness or antagonism,
kindness or animosity, love or hatred; so, it’s not influenced by the prejudices of life.
Impersonal love functions with virtue toward all mankind because of the honor and integrity of
the subject rather than the beauty and attractiveness of the object.
